Stardotstar was looking for an organised and friendly part-time teacher to support our public transport themed website DingDing: www.dingding.org.uk
About DingDing
DingDing is a free-to-use whiteboard friendly teaching resource to introduce, to formative minds, the reality that public transport is a desirable alternative to the car. No really – public transport is all about empowerment, personal and social development and even health. If we can show kids how public transport works and can widen their horizons when they are at primary – they’ll be more prepared and willing to use it in
Who you may be – but we’re open
You’ll have experience in teaching at primary level and understand the needs and wants of kids, teachers and schools. You’ll need to be confident enough to approach schools throughout Greater Manchester and organise workshops and lessons to help schools deliver their needs through DingDing. We want you to research and identify new areas DingDing should be looking at via feedback on how it could be improved and be more relevant. That could be through devising lesson plans, organising competitions, workshops or events. An affinity for public transport, road safety, health and the well being and future for the children of Greater Manchester – essential.
This is a great opportunity to work with a wide range of schools, teachers and children from across Greater Manchester and make a difference. We’d love to hear from you.
