We're ten years old! Already!

To our surprise, and partial disbelief, Stardotstar has hit double figures over the weekend when we reached the ripe old age of 10 years old. We were just getting used to being the young upstarts and we’ve gone and become part of the establishment!

In that decade, we’ve seen dot com bubbles inflate and pop, recessions come and… well nearly go, but we’ve proudly stuck to our principles of always seeking out the most interesting projects and products that delight and improve people’s lives.

We had no idea how to celebrate this landmark, but we hatched a plan – the Stardotstar School Trip! There are numerous places we’d love to visit but just don’t get the time to, so the Stardotstar School Trip seemed like a great excuse to all jump on a train and get a personalised tour around Bletchley Park (Geek fest ahoy!).

Thanks to all of our clients, friends, wives, girlfriends, girlfriends that became wives and everyone else that supported Stardotstar over the years – not least the wonderful people who have been Stardotstarlets both past and present: our alumni include very talented folks who have gone on to become successful CGI movie animators, to founders of Madlab, to successful freelancers and business owners in their own right amongst others. Thank you all for being a part of us, and making the ride such fun :-)

So what have we got planned for the next decade? We hope to have some interesting announcements very soon – and we aim to have Stardotstar School Trips more often than every decade too.
