2 Cookies and tracking
In common with many websites, we use the Google Analytics service to track site visitors to improve the service we offer.

3 E-mail updates
Stardotstar maintains an email mailing list, to which users may subscribe to receive email updates.
Our mailing list is provided by mailchimp.com, and you can read more about their service at http://www.mailchimp.com/page/privacy/ . We will not make your details available to any third parties, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
4 Comments
Some areas of our website allow users to leave comments. We reserve the right to moderate, edit or remove comments without notice and for any reason.
The IP address of comment posters is recorded, along with other data you volunteer (for example a name or other personal details). If you post what we consider to be offensive, inappropriate or objectionable material, Stardotstar reserves the right to use your personal information and internet address details to prevent further postings. We furthermore reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law, and if we reasonably believe you to be in breech of the laws of England or Wales, we may use your personal information to contact relevant third parties such as your employer, internet provider or law enforcement agencies.
5 Log Data
When you visit our site, we automatically record information sent by your browser, including IP address, browser type and the web pages visited. We use this information only for technical quality assurance and monitoring the system.
6 Young users
Users under the age of 16 must obtain a parent or guardian’s permission before providing any information to us.
7 Links
This site may link to other websites. This privacy policy does not apply to these sites, and you should check the terms and conditions and privacy policies they provide for details of how you data will be handled by them.
8 Data storage
Your data will be held by us no longer than is necessary for the functions described above. You have the right under UK law to request access and amendments to data held by us, or its deletion. Data may be stored in a country different to that in which it was submitted (eg by Google and Mailchimp, in the US).
